Edit -- the company has resolved this issue. I am leaving the original text below as others might hit it - if you get a subscription via a bank or company formation service like through Tide, when they cancel, it can cause mixups. The initial response wasn't great but after a few escalations, Hoxton Mix have entirely fixed this and restored the service.*** If you pay for an annual subscription and submit a cancellation partway through, they cancel immediately, not at the date of next renewal. This is not standard practice and is deeply unethical, a form of cheating people out of money and making them re-open on a new subscription to get final mail. I don't expect a refund but I also expect that service I've paid for continues.They also hide behind service providers if you come to them through e.g. Tide. While they obviously control how they react to cancellations, they will try to pretend it's the other party's fault. Again, deeply unethical and trying to extract whatever they can.
